インドネシアのメダンにおいて都市廃棄物で汚染された土壌から分離された線虫捕捉菌を検討した。
3菌株をそれぞれDrechslerella brochopaga、Arthrobotrys thaumasius、A. sinensis類似種と同定した。
これらの菌はいずれも線虫Meloidogyne haplaに対する89-97%の抑制効果を有していた。
