This is my description of collections from the Solomon Islands. It agrees with that of Cunningham except that he does not mention the gelatinous texture of the flesh or the evanescent subdichophysial hyphal ends on the pileus. Though the spores are not amyloid, I am inclined to thick that the species is really allied with Panellus (Corner 1987). [2]
