ブリテンにおいてセイヨウシデの枯れ枝にCamarographium carpiniを見出し、形態学的検討を行った。

本種はタイプロカリティのサンクトペテルブルグのみで知られていたが、本論文でブリテンにおける新産種として報告された。

本種の若い分生子には横方向の異隔壁のみが存在し、この状態ではStilbospora属菌に類似していた。
