台湾中部および南部において250点を超えるさび菌類の標本を採集した。

そのうちNyssopsora thwaitesii（台湾新産種）、Goplana dioscoreae、Puccinia fusispora（台湾新産種）、P. paullula、およびPucciniastrum potentillaeの5種の新規分布域を記録した。

これらの種はそれぞれフカノキ属、ヤマノイモ属、イラクサ属、オランダイチゴ属、オランダイチゴ属植物を宿主としていた。
