Puccinia podophylli

Known from Podophyllum peltatum L. (Berberidaceae). This rust species occurs throughout the range of the host (Farr and Rossman 2011) in eastern parts of Canada and USA (USDA 2011). It also has been reported from Diphylleia sinensis H.L. Li (Berberidaceae) in China (Farr and Rossman 2011), but we have not confirmed the accuracy of these reports [2]
