Weresub (1961) attempted to typify P. glebulosa subsp. cineracea using original material matching protolog Galzin 6731 (Bourdot 8015). The examined specimen came from the personal collection of Marinus Anton Donk, but the herbarium was not indicated, rendering the typification ineffective (Art. 8.1). The authors selected Galzin 6704 (Bourdot 8012) from the original material in PC as the lectotype, which also agrees with the protolog. [6]
