位置
The lectotype of Sebacina laccata (cited above) was selected and redescribed by Hauerslev (1993). The specimen contains a variable proportion of stalked, sometimes myxarioid basidia intermixed with normal, unstalked basidia typical of the genus Exidiopsis. It also contains oddly shaped elements in the hymenium which presumably represent aborted basidia. These elements, plus the occasional stalked basidia, appear to be artifacts caused by the swelling and distortion of the gelatinous matrix, probably as a result of sudden heavy rain. If this is true, then the lectotype of Sebacina laccata is no more than an atypical specimen of Exidiopsis effusa, which it otherwise closely resembles. It is here considered a synonym. Reid (1970) created the combination Myxarium laccatum based on a misinterpretation of an English specimen of Stypella grilletii (see above). [2]
