本種のテレオモルフおよびアナモルフの形態を検討し、アナモルフをRamularia endophyllaとして新種記載した。

表面殺菌した新鮮な緑色の葉から本種が繰り返し分離されたことから、本種が生活環において生葉に無症状で定着することを確かめた。
