中国雲南省の10ヶ所においてAgeratina adenophoraの健全葉および罹病葉、周囲の空気中などから分離された菌類を検討した。

そのうち病斑から分離されたRemotididymella ageratinaeおよびR. anemophilaの2新種を記載した。

両者とも有性世代と無性世代の両方を形成し、前者は本属で唯一子嚢胞子の中位が深く狭窄し、後者は子嚢が長く、子嚢胞子が短く、分生子が大きいことなどで特徴づけられた。
