スロバキア、ドナウ川低地に産した材生息菌の研究 (2)
A contribution to the knowledge of lignicolous fungi of Podunajská nížina Lowland (Slovakia) 2
スロバキアのドナウ川低地において材生息菌を調査し、438分類群を記録した。
そのうち70分類群は稀産種、絶滅危惧種、あるいは興味深い種であった。
スロバキア新産種のCeriporia pieriiのほか、一部の分類群については短い解説を加えた。

Trechinothus smardae A remarkable new British corticioid fungus
イギリスのハンプシャーにおいてセイヨウトネリコの材に発生した菌をTrechinothus smardaeと同定した。
本種は厚壁胞子が初め無色で、成熟すると帯赤褐色の樹脂状物質に覆われることなどで特徴づけられた。
本種は子実体にニンニク臭があり、5胞子性の担子器を有していたが、そのような報告は以前にはなかった。

桑実形の厚壁胞子を有するコウヤクタケ類の新属・新組み合わせTrechinothus smardae
Trechinothus smardae gen. et comb. nov., un champignon corticioïde à chlamydospores moriformes
Tomentella smardaeのタイプ標本などを検討し、本種に対して新属Trechinothusを提唱した。
本属はTrechispora属に類似し、担子胞子が小刺状で、菌糸がしばしばアンプル形であり、シアノフィリックでないことなどで特徴づけられた。
本属は子実体形成菌糸層および根状菌糸束に厚壁胞子を多数形成し、この性質はコウヤクタケ類としては例外的であった。
