コスタリカおよび台湾からHypoxylon属とNemania属の計6分類群を新たに記載した。

そのうちN. flavitexturaとN. primoluteaは培養下で典型的なGeniculosporiumアナモルフを形成した。

N. costaricensisは本属において最大の子嚢胞子を有し、N. flavitexturaは子嚢殻間の子座組織が本属で唯一黄色であった。
