ケニア産糞生子嚢菌の研究：野生動物の糞に生じたSchizothecium属菌
Studies of coprophilous ascomycetes in Kenya: Coprophilous Schizothecium from wildlife dung
ケニアにおいて様々な動物の糞から湿室法で得られたSchizothecium属菌を検討した。
5種を同定し、そのうちS. conicum、S. dakotense、S. dubium、およびS. glutinansをケニア新産種として報告した。
糞の種類と菌の種類には明確な相関があり、3種は単一タイプの糞からしか得られず、基質選好性を示唆している可能性があった。

フランス産の糞生Schizothecium属菌の1新変種
A new variety of coprophilous Schizothecium from France
フランスから新変種Schizothecium curvuloides var. megasporumを記載した。
本変種はアナウサギの糞に発生し、基本種より子嚢胞子が大型であった。
また、Schizothecium属をPodospora属とは別属と考え、Podospora vratislaviensisをSchizothecium属に移した。
