中国産の病原性木材腐朽菌
Pathogenic wood-decaying fungi in China
中国において病原性木材腐朽菌の調査を12年間にわたり実施し、約3000点の標本を採集した。
102種の担子菌を記録し、そのうち20種について、中国における生木での発生を初めて報告した。
大多数は温帯林および亜寒帯林で見出され、88種が白色腐朽菌、14種が褐色腐朽菌であった。

Armillaria altimontana, a new species from the western interior of North America
北米西部内陸部の高標高地に分布する「NABS X (North American biological species X)」と呼ばれてきた菌をArmillaria altimontanaとして新種記載した。
本種は広葉樹および針葉樹を宿主とし、30年以上も前から認識されてきたが、稀産種であるため正式に記載されてこなかった。
北米産の全ナラタケ属菌を含めたEF1-αに基づく分子系統解析で、本新種は単系統群を形成するとともに、A. calvescensなど4種からなるクラスターに含まれた。
