Neoboletus antillanus sp. nov. (Boletaceae), first report of a red-pored bolete from the Dominican Republic and insights on the genus Neoboletus
ドミニカ共和国で採集された菌を検討し、Neoboletus antillanusとして新種記載した。
本種はブナ科やマツ科植物ではなくハマベブドウと外生菌根を形成するとみられ、固有種を宿主とすることから新熱帯に起源を有する可能性が考えられた。
本種はドミニカ共和国から初めて報告された、赤色の孔口を有するイグチ類であった。
