中国で海藻から分離されたアオカビ属の3新産種
Three new records of Penicillium isolated from seaweeds in China
中国青島市の潮間帯で海藻から分離されたアオカビ属菌3種を中国新産種として報告した。
Penicillium rubensはフクロノリ属、P. sumatraenseはホンダワラ属の褐藻からそれぞれ分離された。
また、P. viticolaがオキツノリ属紅藻から分離された。

Species-specific PCR to describe local-scale distributions of four cryptic species in the Penicillium chrysogenum complex
Penicillium chrysogenum種複合体に含まれる4種の隠蔽種を区別するために、種特異的PCRの手法を開発した。
ロンドン地下鉄で得られた430の分離株について迅速同定を行い、路線ごとに大きな差異があることを示した。
また、フレミングのペニシリン発見菌株がP. rubensであることを支持する証拠を示すとともに、P. floreyiおよびP. chainiiの2新種を正式に記載した。
