米国アーカンソー州のオザーク山地で見出された2種のホウキタケ属菌を、Ramaria admiratiaおよびR. calvodistalisとして新種記載した。

前者はLaeticolora亜属Formosae節に含まれ、柄の外側の肉と表面にアカントデンドロイド菌糸を持つことなどで特徴づけられた。

後者はLaeticolora亜属に含まれ、落葉樹下で群生あるいは菌輪をなし、枝と頂部が黄色、柄に変色性がなく、アカントデンドロイド菌糸やクランプを欠くことなどで特徴づけられた。

メキシコのオーク林で採集されたホウキタケ属Laeticolora亜属の3新種を報告した。

Ramaria persicinaは子実体が桃色～帯桃橙色、担子胞子に散在する浅裂する疣状装飾を有し、R. suaveolensは淡黄色で柄の肉に樹枝状糸状体を有していた。

R. radicansは淡黄色で柄が根状、担子胞子が平滑で柄に樹枝状糸状体を有していた。
